Documentary Photographer — New York

Elara Voss spent her formative years photographing the fishing communities of coastal Maine before moving to New York, where her work expanded into portraiture and long-form documentary projects across North America and West Africa.

Her photographs have appeared in The New Yorker, Le Monde, and numerous gallery exhibitions. She approaches each project as an extended collaboration — time spent, trust built, images made only when they're ready.

She is available for editorial assignments, personal portraiture, and long-term documentary commissions. She works exclusively on film.
